Cléa Formaz
Cléa Formaz is a Swiss researcher in Cognitive Neuroscience. She developed an interest in heart-brain interaction as a teenager, when she started testing her physical and mental limits in athletics. This interest was further piqued by studying undergraduate psychology and ruminating on the meaning of humanity. Formaz also enjoys art, literature, and athletics, specifically middle distance running. In her first book, she reflects on what it means to be human, and discusses the heart’s influence on the brain when it comes to conscious decision-making.
