Cléa Formaz is a Swiss researcher and PhD candidate at ETH Zürich and holds a Master of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience. She developed an interest in heart-brain interaction as a teenager, when she started testing her physical and mental limits in athletics. This interest was further piqued by studying undergraduate psychology and ruminating on the meaning of humanity. Formaz also enjoys art, literature, and athletics, specifically middle distance running. This is her first book.
