Michael Nicholson
Michael Nicholson was born in 1954 in Melbourne, Australia. He attended Scotch College, where he pursued an interest in writing as the Editor of the school’s magazine, Satura. Since then, he has explored various careers including those in publishing, television, art, animation and filmmaking. Michael’s interest in the arts has translated to success in both writing and filmmaking; he has six other published works and worked on “Rubbery Figures,” the satirical political puppets, on national television for several years in the 1980s, as a writer, director, animator and editor. Michael married his wife in 2002, and they have a daughter together. When he’s not writing or filmmaking, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, gardening and pursuing photography.
