David Lanigan
Born in Wimborne, Dorset in 1941, David Lanigan developed a love for flying at an early age. This love led to a career with the Royal Air Force, followed by many years of flying for private companies. David and his wife Ann have one son, Christopher, and they have now retired to Dorset enjoying membership of the local rambling club and supporting the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.

Coming from a half-Scottish background but proclaiming to be 100% Yorkshire, the author, David, was born in 1960 in Mirfield, Yorkshire, growing up with his mum and three sisters. Author Carole Leret was born in Middleborough, Northeast England in the middle of WWII in 1941. Her first memory is of her home being bombed when she was 18 months old. Sadly her father died a year later and her widowed mother brought up Carole and her two sisters. She went to school in Middlesbrough and to Teacher Training College in Kingston upon Hull. Janine Lewis was born in 1989 in Leeds, where she still lives, and attended Mount St Mary’s Catholic High School. Her career is currently based in retail and her interests include painting, going to the gym and, of course, writing. The Girl at the Hostel is Janine’s first published work.

Francesca Liacopoulos, born in 1952 in Sulzburg, Breisgau (Germany), is a Swiss citizen and grew up in Muttenz, Basel-Landschaft. She worked in Geneva as a freight forwarding agent. In 1977, she found herself on the Greek island of Hydra, where she met her husband. She has been a widow since 2008. In 2009, she walked the Camino de Santiago together with her sister.She wrote her first three short stories in 2012 for an anthology. Born in Thessaloniki in 1974, Victor Leonard Libermann had tough beginnings but trusted in his dreams and worked incredibly hard to fulfill them. Ian Lovell
Ian Lovell was born in 1973 in Leicester, where he attended South Wigston High School. He now lives in Leicestershire with his partner and has two children, Caitlin and Darcy. When not working for Royal Mail, Ian’s passions are writing song lyrics, poetry and stories and playing the guitar and the harmonica. Ian started writing in the early nineties, while at the same time playing in a band, which has released three solo albums and a single. Bernard Lovink was born in 1942 in the Dutch village of Wisch. After graduating high school from the HBS-A school in Doetinchem, Lovink pursued a degree in social sciences at the University in Nijmegen and later went on to work as a policy adviser for several local governments.
