Bridget Sutton

Bridget was born in South Africa in 1959 and was educated in Johannesburg, going on to obtain bachelor’s degrees in English and Law. When Bridget and her family first settled in the Isle of Man some twenty years ago, she was intrigued to discover the island is home to a substantial body of original stories, myths and legends.
Years later Bridget was obliged to take early retirement for health reasons. She felt this was at least an opportunity to indulge her greatest enthusiasms, namely art and literature. At around the same time a number of her friends had recently become grandparents, so she seized that excuse to try and combine good story telling with good drawing.
She lives in the Isle of Man and has two adult sons.
