Dieter Wilms

The author, Dieter Wilms, born in Mönchengladbach in 1954, is a trained machinist. After his time in the German Armed Forces, he completed training as a driving instructor and worked in that profession for forty years, most of that time as the owner of his own driving school. During that time, he taught 4,000 students how to drive. A married father of one daughter, he has not confined his retirement to the pursuit of hobbies such as driving and reading. Instead, he fulfilled a long-cherished dream by writing his first book, "In a Sea of Blood and Tears."
