Francesca Liacopoulos

Francesca Liacopoulos, born in 1952 in Sulzburg, Breisgau (Germany), is a Swiss citizen and grew up in Muttenz, Basel-Landschaft. She worked in Geneva as a freight forwarding agent. In 1977, she found herself on the Greek island of Hydra, where she met her husband. She has been a widow since 2008. In 2009, she walked the Camino de Santiago together with her sister.
She wrote her first three short stories in 2012 for an anthology. More stories followed in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Her first book, Jakob – Diary of an Adventurous and Emotional Pilgrimage through Spain, was published in 2014.
Another work, The Magic of Life, was published by Paramon Verlag in 2017.
