Gary Knox

Gary Knox is a first-time author, living in Bolton. He has a son and daughter.
After leaving school at fifteen, he became a signalman with British Rail. Nine years later, at the age of twenty-four, he decided to join the Greater Manchester Police. After several years, he joined the CID, becoming a specialist investigative advisor on a number of murder and high-profile cases.
On retirement, he was asked to work on the Manchester Arena bombing enquiry. After that he began overseeing the training of graduate entry detectives.
He enjoys cycling, walking, and good food and drink.
Although Where’s the Detective is his first novel, he is already in the throws of writing a sequel.
