Kevin Shimmin was born in 1957 in Douglas, Isle of Man and has spent most of his life living in England. He went to Kingsmead School in Enfield where he obtained ‘A’ levels. He was employed for 45 years in the IT industry. He also worked as a Director for a large pharmaceutical. He has been married twice and has two daughters from his first marriage, two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. The Seven Magic Animals is Kevin Shimmins first novel. His hobbies include motorbikes, Formula 1, gardening, walking and DIY.
Kirsten Shonle
Kirsten Shonle is a first-time author from Portland, ME where she lives with her husband and three boys. Shonle is introverted, artistic, creative, and humorous. Outside of writing, she also enjoys painting, reading, and creating memes. When she was fourteen, Shonle moved with her family from Colorado to Maine. Her husband supports her and her mental illness, and she loves her three humorous boys and two stepchildren. Shonle’s mission is to become an advocate to end the stigma that surrounds mental illness.
