Denise Gurtner

Denise Gurtner has always combined music, education and creative expression in a unique way. Music played a central role in her life from an early age—as the lead singer of a rock band and the composer of numerous songs. Later, she dedicated herself to working with young people, guiding 16- to 20-year-olds as they prepared to enter the professional world. In doing so, she combined her interest in economics and politics—supported by studies in economic and social sciences—with a strong passion for social issues.
Art and movement have also shaped her path. She has led painting courses, conducted seminars on spiritual healing and continually found inspiration through kickboxing, qigong and yoga. Today, she lives in Switzerland with her family. With “Time Traces – The Journey Begins Now” she presents her debut novel.
